It's a bit hard to tell in the bag but if you give it 24 hours and then take another pic it might have better colour. It has the body shape of a Sciaenochromis ahli but it could also be a skinny peacock.
could be either.
Unfortunately the problem with buying fish sold under common names is they could be anything, especially cichlids that look similar to each other. But give it a couple of days to settle down and colour up and see what it looks like then.
since i matured my tank will loads of filter wool from a mates tank, should i feed more at the moment in preparation for more fish, because i just did a water test and i'm zero everything, PH is 8.2. stable temp of 26.4-7
I want to add another 10 fish, 7 yellow labs and 3 perlmutts
Current stock is
2 x Swedish red hongis
1 x red zebra
1 x this hap in the pic
I want to add 20-22 in total, can i keep this as the only hap also (because they get quite big i just wanted a electric blue).
You can feed more in an attempt to build up filter bacteria numbers, however the bacteria multiply pretty quickly (they can double their numbers every 24 hours). So it isn't normally necessary.
The electric blue cichlid Sciaenochromis should not be a problem in that tank. They are pretty peaceful and rarely get to 6 inches.
