Fish Id Please

Well...I'm not a rainbow expert but I would say that's a Western Rainbow (Melanotenia australis). I base that on the red tail and the black lateral markings. There is a similar fish, the black-banded rainbow (I don't know it's scientific name off hand but it's a melanotenia too) but it doesn't have the red tail.

I too would say Western Rainbow. Possibly a very, very stressed Red Rainbow but I'm leaning more towards Western

Ey im inclined to think looks like my guys. Only recently got into Rainbows myself....great fish mate, bottom of shot
