Trigonostigma hengeli
hengels' rasbora, lambchop rasbora or glowlight rasbora.
take your pick of common names

Looks like a variation of the Harlequin rasbora, Rasbora hetermorpha, or could be a similar species from the same genus, I must look in one of the Baensch atlas's. It's not a tetra, a cyprinid (rasbora).

Anyway the requirements for them is all the same, I kept them once, they are great looking fish when in large shoals and do well in a planted tank. Reasonably hardy and easy to breed, they originate from parts of idonesia, have a maximum size of 5cm and a minimum tank of 10 gallon.

Personally I prefer the normal colour form. http://www.aquaticvariations.com/images004...raHarlequin.jpg

Edit: Looks like the wolf answered first.

They look like glowlight rasboras to me but i'm not 100%.

Do you actually have the fish or is it just a picture? They look lovely.

Hi Matt,
