3 of my rasbora hengeli have vanished from my tank! They are definitely not in thre! I have checked the filter remover the bogwood there is nowhere they could be hiding, I don't know what could of happened to them I am gutted :(

What else is in the tank and what size are these other fish?
How big were your hengeli (they reach ~3cm as adults)?
Is the lid secure (i.e. any chance they have "jumped ship")?

Tehre are only harlequin and hengeli rasboras in my tank, they are about 2.5cm in length. I went away at the weekend and I'm sure they were all there, the lid is secure and I have checked the floor and behind the tank. I have tested the water and there's no ammonia or nitrites and only 5 nitrates. Theres no skeletons or any sign of the fish, I'm perplexed

Over the last three months, I've discovered fish can be very elusive when they want to be... Since introducing the baby Indian Red Tial Squirrel Loaches to my Korrall60 QT tank, which only has 4 small pieces of planted bogwood and the filter chamber besides three floating plants, its very rare for all six to be "present and correct!" What was curious though, while doing a "vacuum" and 75% water change, all six swam to the end of the tank nearest me and stayed there, as if to say "hello and thanks for the fresh water!"

I wish they were just hiding! I dont understand why theres no sign if the fish died though?

A massive surprise when I got home today, one of the missing fish is sin my tank! I have no idea where it had been? could it have been in the filter? It has a damaged tail fin, nearly half of it is missing!!! what should I do?
