Fish for *now* empty 25g...

Well, now that I've moved Bandit (the clown trigger), I've realized that I need to keep the beneficial bacteria alive in the 25g by putting another fish (or two) in it. My question is, should I put some hardy fish in there that will just keep the bacteria going--such as a damselfish--or should I start stocking it with fish and cleaners that I will eventually move to the 38g? (A pair of clownfish, a bunch of hermits and snails, an anemone (jk! ), etc.)

Depends on how long it is gonna be empty for. If its only a couple of weeks, just chuck a shrimp or something in there.

Well, that's the thing... it's probably going to be empty for a couple of months. I can't start corals until mid-summer--maybe not even until next year--because I don't have the time for them right now with college and everything.
