fish48 said:Fish are like humans, your fish don’t care cos you don’t give different varieties of food so they know no difference. Give them some live food and then see how much they like flake food, and it is a myth that you should only be substituted once or twice a week , frozen/ live foods can be feed more than once or twice a week most fish keepers go to a lfs and buy a little bag of Daphnia or blood worms , and for the amount that is in the bags of Daphnia will do no harm if a bag was feed to a tank full of fish every day.
they know no difference, i agree, but its all about doing what is best for them....
think of it this way, if you only fed your children healthy nutritious meals, and they never were given fast food, junk food, or chocolate, etc etc, they would not know any difference, and they would enjoy the healthy meals you were feeding them, and they would not want junk food/crap meals....
its all about nutrition,
personally i am a health nut, and i eat healthy foods to give my body the nutrients it needs,
i feel a good quality flake food does the exact same thing for fish, its a well balanced diet,
despite what alot of people may think, frozen foods are really not all that good/healthy or nutritious for your fish
