Fish Dying

What if I'm using RO water because my tap water is bad? Don't I need to adjust the GH and KH at least in that case?
RO water is great. I just meant try and stay away from chemicals in bottles that will change your parameters. These can sometimes be unstable and will kill the fish by putting them in shock/

So it's ok to use things like Seachem Equilibrium or buffers on my RO water, right?

I just did another water change today. All of the water parameters are good, but it seems like things are getting worse.
The platy has red gills like ammonia burn except there is 0 ammonia.
Help would be greatly appreciated.

Yep, never try and change your GH, KH and pH. It could get unstable and result in some very sad fishy moments.
Well, guppies in general can withstand some softer water but fancy guppies are a bit more sensitive to softer water than wild ones. Which can cause problems of course. Big finned ones are more sensitive to softer water than short finned ones.

Please keep this thread on topic Hansgruber7 I am trying to help my dying fish.
