My 65 L planted tank was 100 % ok till a month ago, I added some new fish and ever since I’ve steadily lost fish, never more than one at a time it’s like one dies then one gets sick, all different fish have died, neons, guppies, ottos all that’s left is an endlerers which seems immune, and 10 guppy fry and a sickish looking female, i swapped all the filter sponges and added new ceramic media which maybe wasn’t the best idea all at once but the fish were dying before and it made no difference. Parameters are good, temps etc, soft water. I’m stumped. I would bite the bullet and bleach the tank but all the plants are established

any help have tried loads of remedies no luck

I think you need to be cautious with “loads of remedies”…what have you used/tried and why..?
Some of the fish you have mentioned prefer hard water (Endlers, guppies) perhaps someone with more specific fish knowledge than I have might know if this could be negatively affecting the fish..?

pictures of the fish?

if you changed the filter media/ materials you could now have an ammonia or nitrite problem, in addition to the original issue, which is probably a disease.

check the water quality for ammonia, nitrite, nitrate and pH.

post some pictures of the remaining fish (make sure they are in focus)

describe the symptoms the fish have when sick and dying.

Hello,

what medicine did you use? How long did you ‘cycle’ the tank? Is there any worrisome algae or water clarity? How many water changes do you do per month/week? We need more than just ‘my parameters are good‘. PH, Ammonia, Nitrite, and Nitrate parameters please. I think your tank isn’t cycled. The filter is where most of the beneficial bacteria live. You can’t take everything out and expect the water to have all those beneficial bacteria nutrients. What plants do you have? Can you take a pic of the tank?

The best remedy I know of are water changes. I’ve done 75%+ twice a day on a tank with bad numbers. And it worked.
