Just be polite and say these guys are really not what I want. If you want to deal with this LFS in the future just accept you both made a mistake.

Ask to speak to the manager and gently but firmly and politely suggest that he offers training to his staff before someone buys a fish from his shop that causes some serious damage and they end up on the wrong end of a lawsuit.

That usually does the trick.
