Fish At Last

well done on being so patient with the cycling.

Tank already looks great. You simply can't beat cardinals/neons for that instant eye-catch-ability in my opinion.

Looking great Tom. I am not convinced on the stories of tetras not being hardy. I fish in cycled with a few neons and they are all doing great so I am sure you will be fine with the Cardinals after a fishless cycle. It's perhaps more a case of finding a good supplier with fish that are good quality to begin with and yours look lovely. Good luck with them and looking forward to seeing what you decide on next.

Can I also add there is no documented evidence of cardinals needing a mature tank.

Hello Tom,
STUNNING!!!!, give yourself a pat on the back m8.
There is still time for you to enter this months TOTM i think.

Glad all the hard work is finally paying off!

Tank looks lovely mate - really pleased for you.

Ben.

3am? got to laugh at that Tom Ha! I told you it would be perfect!

The vibrant way your fish shoal should now be the reward for learning how to produce a great environment for them and being patient about doing that!

Great looking!

WD

It's a very nice tank =)
You did a good thing waiting so long for the tank to cycle properly - it's actually a lot easier that way!
Cardinals in my experience aren't too fragile. My dad had a shoal of cardinals and black skirts in his tank before 6 months and they were fine.
