Fish are breeding like crazy

I have platty's in my 10 gallon tank.. I expected them to breed but i didnt expect them to breed with the alge eater... I just noticed today that my alge eater is preggers.. she is the only one in there and i have had her for about 3 months... Is it possible that my platty got her pregant.? And Yes she is for sure pregnant... I also have some snails in the tank to and they are breeding like crazy to.. If this keeps up iam going to have get either a bigger tank or take some to the fish story for exchange ...Not that iam complaining mind you... but they are horny little devils... makes me kinda jealous lol

No way, my new 32 G tank has nothing but 4 platys and two Siamese Algae Eaters. Surely the one male Platy isnt gonna get it on with the SAE???

I will be watching them carefully from now on (for research purposes u understand)......

Livebeareing fish cannot crossbreed with egg laying fish and unless you have at least two of the same species of algea eater in the tank i seriously doubt the algea eater is spawn (egg) bound, more likely the fish has eaten a lot and is looking a bit plump.
