I cant be much help but atabout 60 US gallons I would say the tank is to small for a blue tang

all looks good to me except, you might reconsider the three skunk cleaners, they can be a rpita with crawling all over corals etc. and the royal tang - he will grow too big for your tank

I would be thinking of a wrasse or two

are shrimp no good with corals then?

It's true what seffie said, Infact my two cleaners have now decided to live in my huge finger leather... All my corals at this point seem to have gotten used to be stepped on by now though, so I still think they're a great addition to tanks :)

i had fire shrimp before, they are very preety and were quite shy.
it was fun to watch them charging out to grab food though.

are the othe rfish in my list ok?

also are there any angels that are reef compatible?

Hi all, I have decided against the online fish store and went to my local shop today. I picked up a algae blenny as the tank is starting to get back how it was before, covered in loads of algae.

I also have a question about feather duster plants, what do these eat? I know they are filter feeders so would i need to add any supliments to the tank for one of these?

Algae blennies are good little guys

Feather dusters: Yes, you are right they filter feed. In most systems they will be fine with no supplements IMO, but i'm sure they wouldn't mind a blow of phyto or zooplankton on occasion (the corals wouldn't mind either).

great, thanks to your advice i now have a feather duser too. I will buy some zoo plankton to top them up with, im guessing you cant over feed this stuff?

also, my wife has offered to buy me a fish or 2 for christmas, so out of the list the top which do you sugest to get next?

You CAN overfeed to the point of harming your tank. The excess can build up and break down into toxins, so don't over do it! I would only add some once a week.

I would suggest adding the firefish and/or gobies next :)

seen some amazing things tonight, firstly as pictured i whitness a white liquid of some kind (im guessing sperm) coming from my mine urchin which went on for about 10 mins.

then just now i actully saw my algae blenny ripping off lumps of algae and chewing it. amazing. had him for about 5 days and he has cleared more algae than anything i have had before.
