Hello, this is my first time using one of these pages. Usually, I look my question up and it brings me to a page like this and I read conversations till I find my answer. It hasn't been a problem at all and I actually have been content with all my answers.
I started out with just two fish and one snail. One female mollie, and one female guppy and a mystery snail. My boyfriend originally got the fish knowing nothing about cycling or that you were even supposed to cycle and neither did I. I started talking to my friend about her fish and instantly realized we had done it all wrong. Luckily enough with the help of my friend, I have had both these fish since July. My guppy just days after having her dropped one single fry and then a couple of days later dropped about 6 or 7 more. All lived! Then after having my mollie for a couple of weeks, was when I found out she was a girl. The pet store said it was a boy but I didn't know anything at the time so after watching youtube videos I had realized that she was definitely a she and was definitely pregnant.
Fast forward to now, and I have gone from having them all in a 10 gallon at one point to them being separated in between two ten gallons, and now I have set up a large 55 gallon for 4 male guppies and 5 mollies; one I know is a boy and one I know is a girl and three are juvy so I'm not sure yet. I kept my two female guppies in their own tank, hoping the male guppies with leave the mollies alone in the big 55 tank. I also have a ten-gallon running with about 11 mollie juvy which im trying to find homes for if any one is interested!
Thanks to those who read
