First Proper Planted Tank

Yeah my espei have made a couple of leaps, but only in stressful situations where they were either in a bucket, or being moved. On the other hand, both tanks I've had them in have had full coverage hoods

thanks for that Vid Ian yeah those cherries look great... gone straight to the top of the wanted list, how many would you suggest??

and lol at the fish in the hair!!

thats my house Almostawesome...nice isn't it.

as for the Cherries, you'll have to get a 2 females to 1 male, as the males get a little scrappy.

with nothing else in there you could get 12-15. :good:

I'd go for 6 males and 9 females though. The males are the colourful ones. They show off to each other rather than to females. Another fish to consider would be Serpae Tetra's. If kept alone and in a group of 10 then they would equal anything we have mentioned and you wouldn't have to worry about them battering any tankmates.

Cherries are also good algae eater, so you also get a bonus there. :good:

haha I've seen that video maybe 100 times already. Now 101. Cherries would be awesome! I was tempted for some awhile back.

Cheeries bought got 13 (9 feamles 4 males) Gave me an extra female for free how nice!!

90% of Blyxa Japonica gone... may eventually become 100% Will get pictures later

Excellent! I'm excited lol, they are going to look amazing in your tank :D
