out of interest - what lighting (watts per gallon) have you got there? I'm just trying to get an idea of what can be done with what lighting.

i'm not quite sure on how many watts it is, its a juwel rekord, i bought the light tube off a mate because he has many planted tanks and he told me that the tube was really good for planted tanks, and it seems to have met the requirements of all my plants i have had in the past but it does'nt say on the tube how many watts, i used to have the built 15w juwel tube i had 1.25 watts per gallon then and that did the job fine and all my plants grew well with it even the light loving ones e.g some of the cabomba species, but i bought the other tube for the sake of it really.
