No, this isn't pulled from some site. I actually caught it. ;) Best picture yet. But I need to clean the outside class. I can see drops on the glass. :/

Second of some cories. :)

They are the easiest because they don't move much. ;)

Now for the cobra male. He moved to much. :/ Every time I had a perfect focus shot and snapped, he would move! :grr:

i like that guppy! i have a couple of guppies in my communty, but i want to make a whole guppy tank, and when i do i will get some of those, they are cool! :hey:

Yeah, the picture doesn't do him justice either. :/ I'm hoping he will calm down so I can get a decent shot, but it's like he knows I'm taking his picture. :S

More cory shots. ;) Peppered corys this time.

BTW, for those that are wondering this is an Olympus D-540. :)

Awwwww, they're so cute! I love Corys! You've got a good start on using your camera. Your first attempts are certainly better than mine were  It took me awhile to find that handy "Macro Mode" button :S Amazing how much better your close-up pictures turn out when you turn on "Macro Mode", eh?

While blurry, that picture of your Guppy still looks neat.

Are your Bronze Corys spawning? I think I see eggs in the fins of one of 'em (in the first picture), but I can't tell for sure if it's an egg/eggs or a spot on the glass. Their "pose" looks sorta like they're spawning too...

There are spots on the glass. I need to clean the side glass, I usually only clean the front. :/

I hope they aren't spawning yet, because I plan to move them to the ten gallon breeder and do that next week. :S

I haven't spawned corys yet, so I didn't know that was the pose, but I have seem them do that more than once.

Edit: Yes, the macro mode is great. So is the 10x Zoom w/ the zoom button. :D

hey ddreams,

I love the cories, unfortunatly, i have lot of bottom dweller (Clown Loaches and a YoYo loach)

On the other hand have you bought a new camera yet?? If not, look at some of the pictures I have posted, its a Canon A85, not a bad 4 MP camera with full manual controls. Can be had for $~240

If you want, I can email you pictures of some shots I took

These are with the new camera. :)

I picked up an Olympus D-540 3.2MP and 128MB Card (seperate) for a total of $136.00. :)

Here are a few more shots.

My PLECO is getting BIG! ;) Gonna have to start calling him tough guy, he is the biggest fish in the tank. :p

At least she stood still, even if I didn't. ;)

If they are spawning, you should see the female's...something fins - which fins they are escapes me right now - clasped together and you'll be able to see eggs in them. Pelvic fins - those are the ones! There will also be eggs stuck on the glass and/or the bottoms of plant leaves - or little round spots where the eggs were before the fish ate 'em :0 My Neons love the Cory eggs - they're like "Oh, look! Stick-on-the-tank snacks, just for us! Yum!" <gulp>

Well, tomorrow they are all coming out of the tank, I mean all, guppys, pleco, corys, and going into the ten so I can do some major aquascaping.

That is how the tank looks a the moment, but there are major changes coming tomorrow. ;)

It could be. I just hope they breed next week when I put them in the breeder. :/

Thank you for clearing that up blue-ice. :) I got really lucky with this shot. ;)
