yes i did a fish cycle, for 2 weeks with just the goldfish in then added the tetras and platties...

now a week later i've added 2 mollies 4 neon tetras and a plec

everyone i know kept gold fish in thir ponds backhome (south asia).. where temps are over 30+ full time.. and they r the the biggest and fattest goldies i ever seen...




why dont you try a male betta as the ruler of the tank?

yes i'm after a fighting fish (think they the same??) and maybe an angel fish then i'll be happy

but i want to leave it a while to see how these go, still nervous its all gonna go wrong

Dont want to be pessimistic or anything but your tank might run into issues by being under cycled. Just as a precaution a test kit would be very ideal to monitor your tank and prevent more problems. they can be picked up for around 20 bucks and will prevent MANY future problems. Also angelfish require a tank that is 18in+ tall from substrate to the top in order to keep in proper conditions.
