First Fish

My 30L Biorb is ready for me to put my tropical fish in.
As a newbie to this i dont really know what to put in but i was going to start off with NEon Tetra's. Are these appropriate, if they are how many would i purchase to start off with (i intend to add 2 larger fish afTER the tetra's a few weeks later).
Are these good fish fo beginner?

Hi ecro83, you say your tank is ready for fish, have you therefore been adding ammonia to your tank in order to cycle it and have the water parameters at hand?
neons are not a good starter fish, They are a fish which needs a mature tank and i'm afraid a larger tank than the biorb.
