First Betta

Pic is terrible but all I have is my camara phone. He is mostly blue with a little bit of red. Currenty he is in my 2.5 gallon tank. When I get a new 10 gallon I am hoping to get 4 females. What do you all think of this guy?

Lots of people argue about whether or not to keep females together in one tank, but I wouldn't put four females together in a tank together. I'd put maybe three together with dividers, that's ok...I have mine in tanks with dividers.

I know that others have kept females together with lots of plants and had great results...they have minimal aggression in their tanks.

Don't put the male in with the females. Males should be the only betta in their dwelling.

Well maybe I won't go with 4 females until I get more experience under me with bettas. Once I get a new tank my 10g will be free so I can go with another betta in there. I will try to get a better pic of this one tonight.
