hmmm think i might have to place an order for some of this atison food, both are the same type aren't they? i.e. pellet food. i only asked as it seems the Hikari one has wheat flour in it and i have no idea if this is bad for the fish etc, does the atison one have that as well?

as for the food i fed mine hikiri when i was using pellets as staple. Have since switched to flake. Was fine as a food IMO.

I notice that my bettas make bubble nests when they are content and happy. Every betta I have owned quit making bubbles when they got sick. Like when my last betta had ich. He didn't make bubbly nests. My current betta got swim bladder and didn't make bubble nests. When I got him cured and unbloated, he started making them again So I am pretty sure it is a sign of a happy Betta.

now..what do you all use to feed your plants? what is safe to use in small betta tank and a 55litre coldwater tank? i've heard people use liquid or tablets. very confusing.

which would you get? bear in mind my budget is not great
