firemouths and blue acara's

how fast do they grow and will they both be compatible when they're older?
i have 4 firemouths and 5 blues in a 60 gallon tank now, they're all about and inch to two big and wondering how fast they grow so i know when to put money aside for a few more larger tanks

blue acaras grow relatively fast, my pair actually mated about 6 months after I bought them(3/4-1" when I got em) within 9 months they were 3 inch. I'm not sure how old they were when I got them or what the conditions were at the breeders. In your tank they may even grow faster. My acara tank was a 35

As for fire mouths..haven't a clue

The firemouth should be 6-7" in about a year or so.
