i did want a pair of angels but people said that my tank was abit small an wondered how many i could have, also are they ok with a group of corys an a group of neons? i have a 110 L

Not sure if your question refers to angels or a firemouth, but I would suggest your tank is too small for either, sorry.

I have a firemouth in my 240 litre and I wouldn't keep one in anything smaller.

ok thanks, do you no anything on the red jewels?

All I've heard about jewels is that if they're not kept alone, they'll attack all the other fish!

For a 110L you could have a look at gouramis, or if you particularly wanted a cichlid, maybe some apistogramma or other dwarf cichlids?

no gouramis thanks haha not my fish, i am wanting some sort of chichild yes

Have a look at the dwarf Cichlids, Kribensis for example. You could have a pair of them.

iv had kribs before in the past want something new what i havent had yet mabe electric blues?

Jen is right about the Jewel. They can be right menaces, kill fish twice their size. Stunning though.

There are a whole pile of smaller cichlids that will do well in a 110 litre community tank, including the rams, apistos, small acaras, keyholes and similar. Does depend slightly on the water conditions you have as a few can be picky about soft water, but some of the tank bred apistos like the apistogramma cacatuoides are fairly sturdy now.

you'd have better luck with the angels than the firemouths in that size aquarium with those fish. if you want something a bit bigger better stick to pelvichromis, keyholes or bolivian rams

A fully grown angel will rarely fit in most 110l tanks, they're generally too tall. They're also somewhat variable with neons, some are fine, some view them as tasty snacks. I've kept angels in small tanks but they were always divided tanks that had the height for them.

i like the look of the keyholes iv never had them before, an never seen them in any of my lfs haha, if i was to go that route how many would i be able to house?

Yeah keyholes are quite a docile ish! Another as they said are the german blue rams! Do well with other fish but destroy plants... Appistos are very colorful also! Just keep peaceful dwarves or just angels! They ate cichlids too you know!

Sorry wrong typo... Are cichlids too!
