Fire Eel

Hi my brother has a fire eel and was miss sold the eel under the thought that he would be ok in a 130L tank
Now we all know that that is aload of ......... So what i was woundering is there any other eel that would be ok in this tank besides khuli louches

The eel is being rehomed and i feel bad for my brother as he is only 12! And really loves his eel i have a 130l and 250l tanks if this is any help

Giant Kuhli loach are interesting.There are a quite few pangio loach species that are suited to small aquariums. I hate it when pet shops do things like that it just gives them a bad name, not to mention how cruel they are being to the fish.

Yeh so do i poor little thing i wish i had room for him

If i won the lottery i would make a tank at 20ft by 20ft so u could swim in it lol

I saw some baby Zebra Spiny Eels at a family owned fish store once. They're in the same family as Fire Eels, but only grow to maybe 1/4 the size. I'd stay away from Fire and Tire Track Eels if you don't want to upgrade to a larger tank.
