Fire Eel

Hi, fire eels are becoming one of my favourite fish but before i get one in need to know more info.

1) Do they grow too big for a tank size of 450litre, http/www.juwel-aquarium.de/en/vision.htm.

2) Are BGK's, Red tail Black Sharks, Hujeta Gars, ropefish & thin bar datnoids a good choice of tank mates.

3) Can they be too clumsy (knocking ornaments out of place and having too much water movement)

noy sure what size tank 450 litres is as I know gallons

they grow very slowly in my opinion
cn be difficult to feed
I keep mine with a BGK and ropefish, they are peaceful fish spending a lot of time hidden in a tube or something like that, I wouldn;t anticipate problems with other fish mentioned although not sure how big tank is
I couldn;t see them knocking stuff over as they are very graceful in their movement

i have a 24" fire eel - they can be picky eaters although my loves prawns/bloodworms beyond anything else.
they do grow depending on how you feed them, mine has grown fast.
it will knock over things in the tank, mainly due to their size and bulk.

i wouldnt be without one though!
