Fire Eel?

 always makes me chuckle when someone takes the advise of one person over the advise of many just because the one person is saying what they want to hear.

I suppose that means you don't agree with what I say. :D

No its not the advise you gave it was the way it was taken, several people pointed out that a 45g tank is too small and that fire eels will eat small fish like tetras as well as being territorially aggressive toward other eels and eel shaped fish but he chose to ignore all that and just take your advise as it was closer to what he wanted to hear.

arghhh got you. I've been guilty of taht in the past myself I suppose. Have you ever had an aggressive fire eel?

my fire eel was very aggresive towards my spiney eel but fine with everyone else.it got so bad biting and chasing the spiney had to be moved or i think he would be dead by now.its strange coz when i first put them together they used to share the same coconut cave but as time went on the fire eel would not even tolerate sharing a tank.oh well they are both happier now they are seperated :)
