I just about got it done people! Tomorrow I'm going to the store to pic up some red slate to make some caves and such. Here it is so far! (disregard the cloudiness, sand is still settling a bit.... back hurts from all the washing  )

Thanks everyone! I've been working on it since 2. I have giant hairgrass, amazon (I believe) sword, bocaba (or something), some sort of cryptocoryne, and some various other plants. Sand was 2 bucks for 40 lbs. Ended up using ~about~ 15, maybe 20 lbs. Pea gravel was two bucks. I was kinda worried the gravel "trails" would look cheesy but I kinda like em. Plus, having a grouping of gravel below where the filter pours out prevents sand from getting tossed around.

I'll have three CT and three VT's in it come friday. Right now it's occupied by a gang of cory cats. (Exploring Albino cory visible in the bottom right of first pic)

It looks fabulous! Like a real lake bottom.
Very nice, I'm a huge fan of natural looking tanks :)

I can't wait to see it with the girlies in it!

It's a 20 gallon. Having 6 females and a gang of cory cats is gonna be a little overstocked, but if I wanted 1 female then I had to order 6. It's gonna be a little more work, but nothin I don't think I can handle. ;)

I can't wait to see what females I'll be getting. I don't know anything about them except they'll be CT's and VT's. It's kinda like a betta grab bag. :D
