Finished Betta Dividing Tank

Hello everyone I have just got done dividing my betta tank into two. I bought one of those penn plax clear dividers and right away they flared at each other and wouldn 'stop so i bought a blue plastic reprot cover and punched some holes with a hole puncher and now they just see a glimpse of each other and so they attack what the quickly see and then they go away and then they see another glimpse and go right over there they know there both in there....is it alright to keep it that way?? thanks!

I divided my tank with the same penn plex cover. After the first day the bettas stopped flaring each other and just carried on. The crown tail will flare once in a while but hte delta tail will usually ignore him now.

I got up this morning to check on em and they still catch a glimpse of each other and they get all flared up and they attack the screen haha i hope they dont' get too much stressed out

I would maybe cover up the holes at times so they can get their privacy. Then maybe once a day or once every couple of days let them see each other through the holes.

i would but then my filtration wouldnt' be good......
