You should be able to get glass polising compound at an auto glass shop or auto body supply shop. Fine scratches should polish out without much problem, much like buffing a car. Now if you can feel the scratch when you run a finger nail across it that will require much more work and actually removing some glass from the surface leaving an indentation. If you have the scratches you can feel I dont think it is worth the time or disaster potential to repair.
