I'm a fan of dwarf gouramis. I have a single male (though I want to get him some females one day as my guppies eventually die off) and he's awesome. So inquisitive. Easily the most interesting fish in my tank.

Good point.It's something i've mentioned in this tank's journal.
Think i might well try RO out after this scape runs its course.

There are several betta species that do well in pairs or groups, Betta cocciana comes to mind. Perhaps you should look at Dario dario, related to Badis badis but much more colorful.

Beautiful setup by the way.

Betta cocciana looks awesome, wish they had those for sale here... I only see crowntails, halfmoons and veiltails on sale. -.-
