Finaly Got Pressurised Co2 - When To Repalce Bottle?

Hi All,

So ive finally got and set up my jbl co2 kit.

My question is that in the instructions it mentions to replace the disposable bottle when the pressure drops from 60 bar to 30 bar.

Can anyone advise so I know when its time.

I would buy another bottle and run the first one dry then replace.

You tend to get very little warning. The CO2 in compressed form will be a liquid, keeping the pressure high as it evaporates to a gas at around the 60 bar pressure. As soon at the liquid runs out you have a tank of compressed gas that will last almost no time at all and you'll start to see a pressure drop.
 
There isn't a lot of window between pressure dropping and empty.

I just got a 35kg pub cylinder today, £50 returnable deposit for the bottle and £18 to fill it up. Should last a while
