Finally Set Up My 7Gallon Nano For A Betta!

Yeah I'm getting the bolbitis today (should get shipped here by next week) and will be getting the glass cut next week for the lid, much sooner than the completion of the cycle in the tank. I've got snails in the tank as well -.- so I'll be testing out different methods to remove them before the cycle completes as well. Gosh those snails are resilient little suckers

Alright, two weeks later and the plant has finally arrived! AND the driftwood has waterlogged and doesn't need the slate on it anymore! yay!

Thank you so much for the recommendation WB the plant looks amazing! so going to try and grow it and use it in other setups

 BTW I got a lid! haha, found the one that was actually made for the tank, but I couldn't find the plastic rails for the glass to sit on so I pinched some off a tank I tore down when I moved to the gfs place

Also guys I was wandering if I could get your opinions on some crowntails? I absolutely <3 crowntails haha.

Wow, those are some fabulous looking fish. Each one is very pretty in it's own right!
 
7's really uniquely coloured - it reminds me of one of Zer0's body armours in Borderlands 2...

Haha thanks guys, I have a mate who owns an LFS in the hills of South Australia and I asked him if he could find me one similar to any of these. I love them all but my favourites are 1, 2, 4 and 7. If he get get me one similar to any of those I would buy it in a heartbeat! Pretty excited!
 
BTW: If anyone is wandering I didn't plant the bobiltis in the gravel, its tied onto a back branch of the driftwood

I personally love 1, 2, and 3.    Love how you placed the bolbitus.  It looks really good in there with your wood.

Thanks kazc31, the plant is called bolbitis, an underwater fern plant that grows from a rhizome so you will need to tie it onto a rock/ornament/driftwood etc.
