Behold
Fishaholic
I burnt my eyes looking at it! used some waste pipe as my bar and the silicone is just drying now.
The main thing was anyone with t5's Get these!!! also t5 bulbs are not to costy if not got from a pet store. I have Natural light bulbs color 880 i think at 8000K should be good for my plants.
overall cost was 10 quid for 2 bulbs
1.50 for the bar
30 quid for the ballast and 10 quid for water proof caps
BARGAIN!
Added ----
Here is the 2 bars i have the rena one is t8 and as you can see is conderibly wider. The plan is to do another T5 twin in tropical lighting and there would be room then for another twin if i wanted (For moon light!) so i can do staging over the 3 lights from none to tropical to daylight to tropical to moon light to none. I might think of making a bar to hold 4 if i add another so i can turn of the middle two and the outer two rather than in pairs.
and the ends that clip on.
its not super pretty but seems water tight from my tests. Next time some removable caps that don't need sealing each time might work better.
