Finally Happy With Plant Growth

Hi there --

I have posted pictures before, but just wanted to give you an update that after a few weeks with new light (4.5 W/gallon), home-made Co2, some liquid fertilzer (1 table spoon per week) and root tabs for the Amazon Swords, I finally got fantastic plant growth in my 29g tank. Fun to watch!

The fish seem to be happy, too: the Chinese algae eater sits on the porch at the entrance of his cave most of the day, while the Gouramis are building a nest underneath the pond weed, mate and chase the angel fish away if they come too close.

Very nice tank, it's the sort of look I want to go with in my 23G, and then just leave it like that, as it keeps turning into a big mess. I think I need to buy a pack of 25 plants to go into it or something, as i'm running out of things to use. Thanks for sharing your pictures.
