Tank is now getting the full 1100 to 1200 gallons per hour of filtration ????

Got's ya...It's interesting with filters, when you think about it all filters: HOB, Canisters etc....basically do one thing...suck water in, move it through a media of some type and flush it back out. That water flows through the media, will get cleansed of the various tank detritus: poop, plant leaves etc...and the bacteria/activated charcoal in the filter will interact with water to clean up the ammonia etc...You got a great deal on your canisters and the two will certainly keep your tank a sparkling. I guess like car fanatics we fish nerds live and die with filters....whereas autonerds live for more performance/speed out of the engines....;-) take care and good luck with your 150...

Thanks ! And I agree my marineland filter houses all of my media and I put for filter floss on the second can really just to help hold and catch all the fine particles floating around!
