Finally Got A Second Tank

i finally talked my other half into another tank and seeing as we're short on space i decided to take a door of the cupboard and fit one in below my trigon 190

Im using the water out of my main tank is this enough to start it cycling as im in no rush to put fish in as itll be a nursery/quarentine tank

cool weldone, if you keeping as a quarentine tank then either keep the filter in you main tank running to keep it matured or you will need to keep a fish in there to keep filter matured

You just gave me an idea for my next project! I'm in the planning stages of getting a Juwel Vicenza 180 and I have that exact same smaller tank setup now. I think I might have to have a go at this but will probably try housing it in the same wood that the main cabinet is made of. Will definitely be great for having as a quarantine tank! Straight out the main, into quarantine, no mess or fuss. And you can check both at the same time

my lads only 20months old he loves sitting infront of it watching the fish i just need to keep an eye on him and the feeding hatch otherwise the fish will be playing with most off his toys
