Awww, I love watching fish interact with each other. I have three spot gouramis and they establish dominance like the female bettas do. Although they are constantly bickering in the struggle for dominance I think it is fun to watch and I'm not so sure they don't enjoy it, too. I think you should do a sorority tank. Plus, it would make your life easier. Go for it. It would probably be your favorite tank to watch.l You could always seperate a single one if you ended up with a real trouble maker. If you keep an eye on things at first you have nothing to lose since its not like you couldn't seperate them all again if needed.

I really like your setup. Looking at something so lovingly maintained is always soothing.

If Buckeye wasn't so shy, and Pitaya wasn't so small, I probably would be considering a sorority. But after seeing how severely Buckeye got beaten up with other females, and since Pitaya is very dinky (she's literally no more than an inch long), I'd be worried about tossing them all in together. What's more, I'm taking 20 cred in college, which leaves me little time to sit and really watch them. Maybe over the summer, when Pitaya's older, I can try them all together. Until then, though, I'll be playing the 'better safe than sorry' game. Thanks for the nice compliments on the tanks, btw!
