I was the first one who answered this post about tank mates. You are the one starting drama.
As far as I can see noone started any drama. Just experienced fishkeepers corrected the misinformation in your first post. The stocking is fine for that tank.
People aren't saying that ADFs don't exist nor that they are always mislabelled, but they regularly are worldwide, not only the chain stores that don't care, but also some pet/fish shops that aren't specialist in frogs and buy from the description they are given. We all know that this happens which is why research is sooo important before buying fish.
Another bit of bad advice you gave is put the bag in with the fish and let the temp equal (or words to that effect) temperature is only 1 consideration whe acclimatising.
The water in the tank will have different PH, different Nitrate, Kh, Gh. The fish should be put in the tank in the bag, and then every 15mins put some tank water in and tip some bag water out to give the fish a closer match to the water you're gonna put him into.
If he was in ph6 tank in the shop and you just match temperatures and then transfer into (for example) a ph8 tank you are gonna have 1 poorly fish that may not last the night.
The original poster has got a good stock list there 5 fish and 5 inverts (which make negligent amount of waste) is excellent.
The 1 inch rule is OK but has limits. yes it is good if you are talking your standard small fish, but if you are buying plecs (Of small and large maximums) or any other wide bodied poop machine fish you cannot and never use this rule.
Also if you look at the types of tank that are being soldnow without any warnings (i.e. the tall pillar tanks) Tehy are 100 Litres or so but you cannot use this 1 inch rule here ever because the surface area is 1ft by1ft and there will be hardly enough oxygen available for 25 litres let alone the tank size.
I am well over stock but my tank is very heavily planted. I have no fish casualties, and no gasping at the surface. Different circumstance diffeent rules.
You need to weigh up Tank Volume + Surface Area + Type of Fish + Type of Filtration + Planting + Amount of surface movement and many othere factors.
It may seem to you that I am following you every where but this is not the fact. I read a lot of threads and you are appearing in everyone giving bad advice, or being abusive.
As to your 5 users, would that be like Worzel Gummidge and his interchangeable heads (3 of them abusive. 1 of them Know it all, and the last 1 time wasting)
As I said in another thread if you PM me again with any abusive language you will be reported to the MODS.
