Finally A Pciture... Lets Have Your Comments

Hi 07Sanchez! :hi: to TFF!!!

We have got:

1 Betta
5 Mollies
3 Guppies
4 Catfish
4 Barbs

We had to adopt some. Saved them from certain death and are all now living happily together.

Nice betta, and tank decor. With that list of fish it sounds like your tank is overstocked. For each gallon of water your tank holds, you should have no more than 1 inch of fish in the tank. For instance, if your 5 mollys are each 2 inches long, that comes to a total of 10 inches of fish, which would be more than the recommended number for a 9 gallon tank. If the mollys are 1 inch each then that would leave you with 4 more inches of fish that you could add to your tank. I believe that mollys can grow up to 3 inches at adult size so be careful!

My tank is fine, my fish are fine. There is plenty space in there. What would you have done? Given them a chance or let them die anyway?

there are guppies in with him  that nick in his tail may be nothing but it looks to me like a bite from a guppy.
It's not the betta you should be worried about, it's the guppies

EDIT:

It may look like there's plenty of space, but the tank really is overcrowded according to the stock list you supplied. It's good of you to take the fish in and save them and all, but if at all possible it would be better for everyone involved if you could either upgrade the tank or rehome a few of them.

Lovely pretty boy you've got there. He reminds me a little of my first (one of two lfs) Betta, Zuni Warrior.

What kind of catfish do you have?

I am in the process of moving the fish, ive setup another 9 GAL upstairs.

Its almost done cycling then ill be moving a few fish slowly over time up there.

On a serious note. The tank my be slightly 'overstocked' however I have not had one die yet and they are all healthy and happy.

Ive got 4 albino catfish,

two babies and two adults. I got the adult ones from my bro when he had his troubles. Along with all the mollys and the barbs.

I have cories (about 55, most in three cory tanks), synos (just two for now with my frontosas), and one group that looks like a giant cory but is really a Brochis splendens, commonly Emerald Catfish.

I'm glad you are upgrading your tanks. Everything can go along fine for a long time with a crowded tank, then WHAM! the whole tank crashes, and you hope to save one. -_-

You really shouldn't have barbs in a tank with a betta because barbs are really nippy and to active for a 9g they need something like a 30g since they are so active.
