Not the best picture, but shows his pinky colours quite well.

it's an 9 gallon tank. ill get another picture tonight, of both the tank and Buster zoomed out.

there are guppies in with him that nick in his tail may be nothing but it looks to me like a bite from a guppy. my friend has a very OVERSTOCKED TANK ovwer 50 inches of fish in a 20 gallon and that includes swordtails at one inch. he placed in a siamese fighter. GONE next morning, so i'd be careful

There is no nick in his tail. Not a mark on him whatsoever. May just be the camera angle. He is in perfect condition and these fish have lived happily together for over a month. He's one of the fittest fighters on this forum.

What other fish do you have in there?

We have got:

1 Betta
5 Mollies
3 Guppies
4 Catfish
4 Barbs

We had to adopt some. Saved them from certain death and are all now living happily together.
