Some journey...

Well... took me six attempts to actually get a successful spawn. Past two spawns were successful. But spawn one seems to have suffered a 90% loss in three weeks while spawn two seems to be a total loss at week two.

This is a lot harder than I ever imagined it would be...

Yeah, it can be quite hard, but never give up. I've been to stubborn to give up. I'm sure that you'll get a nice sized spawn sooner or later. It just takes time. During the past four years, I've done so much research trying to find different methods of raising the fry and breeding bettas. I have a folder that's over an inch thick from all the things I've found. Unfortunately I've only just now started putting them to use.
Do you write down what you did with your spawns?

Thanks. Yeah, it is quite large.
They are really cute. I'm planning a water change this afternoon, so they have some nice clean water.
