can you see if i should add or subrtact anything? anything that goes well with guppies and the other fish i would like

guppy, mystery snail x2 maybe nerite snail, bamboo shrimp, fire shrimp, glass catfish (if i can find it), loaches(khuli and maybe hillstream), pleco(smaller one like some bristlenoses), madagascan rainbow fish,

SCRAPPED IDEAS: betta splendens, common pleco, cory cats, tetra, angelfish, chinese algae eater, discus (idk why i was so crazy at the time), gourami, ADFS, lobster, small crab


"MAYBE ILL ADD IT ",, tadpole shrimp, danio?, some small schoolers like hatchets?,

PLANTS: some wild floaters(yea i bleached them) (one of them is frogbit), some sorta hornwort, bananaplant, random stem plants, java moss, moss ball, some carpet plant thingy, dwarf hairgrass(no im not growing it in aquarium its sorta a floater now and its pretty happy), pothos, monstera deliscosa, some sorta pothos i found, java fern(im failing at this pls help), anubias, bulb plants, A BUNCH OF RANDOM PLANTS THAT LOOK ,GOOD

PLANTS ILL GET IF I CAN FIND IT: bamboo, lilypad, guppygrass, water spangle, small floaters

ok so what do you want for your aquarium? a river style thing? because unless they have short fin guppy are going to have a bad time, snails do not care at all, bamboo shrimp love strong flow, glass catfish if i'm not wrong they like more of alow current not so much a river like thing, loaches if you go with loaches go for the sewellia lineolata or pseudogastromyzon but both need strong currents, plecos do like currents so they are ok and i do not know about rainbow fish sorry.
tadpole shrimp like them still waters, danio like a low to medium flow (if we are talking about zebra danios) and it's a similar story with hatchet fish

use an aquarium river manifold, it is a power head in one side connected to a sponge filter on the opposite side trough underground pipes, it makes a strong unilateral flow that keeps your waters clean and well oxygenated

ok if you want a calm river current then no hillstream or borneo loaches because they need a flow of at least 20 times the volume of the aquarium every hour so stick to pangio semisincta, a river manifold is 10 times simpler than you think but for what you say then it is not the filter for you and yes there are aquarium fans! so you can make a bit of a stronger current, most plants if planted correctly will stand the current, bamboo shrimp like it a bit stronger so i would say to not add them and dumbo guppy suffer even with low current because of their long fins so use common guppy, plants dont go with "ones that look good" yeah choose the ones that look good but also if you are just starting then investigate a bit more, i would recomend all the echinodorus family, java ferns, java moss, all the anubias family, cryptocoryne, vallisneria, guppy grass, pearl weed, rotala rotundifolia ludwigia repens egeria densa, salvinnia minima, dwarf water lettuce, bucephalandra and pogostemon, all those look good in my oppinion and are easy to care for and also cover all the places of the aquarium (foreground, midground, background, epiphites and floaters) hope that helps.

hmm ill get the hill streams later because they are e x p e n s i v e so ill see if the current is enough. my dumbo guppy's fins aren't very long and i think hes fine hes just like a normal guppy but wth a round instead of triangle tail. i never have good luck with ferns and yea ill get some of those ill see if i casn find it cuz my lfs sells assorted plants. do banana plants work? are there like water pumps that can make a bigger current?

ok first yeah banana plants work, second unless your flow is at least 20 times your water volume per hour in this case 1500 gallons per hour do not get hillstream loaches, your guppy sounds like a normal guppy not a dumbo use a power head or an aquarium fan to increase your current. if you want i can do a more in depth text for you.
