Fin nipping fish

Serpae tetras are definitely nippers. Also, as someone mentioned, neons and angels are generally not good tankmates as angels will eat ANY thin bodied fish, especially neons. Even if they grow up together, once the angels get to be 4 to 6 inches, they will eat them if the opportunity arises.

i just bought some angels and took out every fish that was nipping. Suprisingly the tinfoil barbs werent doing any nipping...so like jflowers said only certain barbs are nippers. Also the condition that the fish are in also matters meaning that is less likely to have nipping occured when the fish are in schools.
