Filtration Question

So I've decided that since i added sand to my tank, I need more or better filtration. Right now, I have the standard biowheel for 10g.

Would I get better filtration doing....

a- adding another 10g biowheel, having 2

b- taking my 10g biowheel out and replacing with the next level biowheel

c- having my 10g AND the next level

Hi Scuaba, good to see your still about

IMHO go for the one you have and another one the same
this will give you the advantage of double your current filtration
as well as backup if one should fail for any reason.

if you haven'y gone already, just thought I'd throw in and say that if your current one is doing an ok job, than adding another one of them won't hurt one bit!!! I'd go that way too!!

If you haven't gone yet, I'd say spend an extra couple of bucks and get one of the next sizes (you listed that as an option.) I'm sure if you get two of the same size, you'll be ok, but I kinda like to overfilter and know that I have extra filtration if it's needed.

thanks guys....i went, didnt like the prices i saw, and decided to order the 170 (next size) somewhere on line. I'll have that and my 125 concurrently.
