I've got 2 Penguin 330's, a Penguin 100, an Emperor 400, a Top Fin 60, a Whisper 20-40, several AquaTechs and 3 AquaClears. I like my AquaClears the best.

I know Aqua Clears are made by Hagen, Dorkhedeos. Just supporting the product as I found them to be very good as well.

I run a Fluval 204 (Hagen) but would choose an Eheim next time.

For a canister filter I would recommend the Fluvals and for a HOB filter I would recommend the Aquaclears. I find the Eheim great for a canister filter but maintenance is a pain and it is hard to get started when I turn it off.
