I have not cycled my tank or anything yet its just de chlorinated water, with the heater on.

I set up the filter which i got its a magi jet suitable for 100 L - 300 L i think.
I tried it with the water bar running out and it sounded really really loud - as if someone had a tap on full blast
Now its currently on the air tube setting where it jets water straight out

The 100 L new tank is in my room and always will be, i managed to sleep with it on last night to test it, however its really too loud, this wouldnt be the case if it was in the living room,

Anyway i have a Fluval 1 Plus in my small tank and it just makes a almost silent buzzing, has any one got a really good filter?

Please give me suggestions on the right internal filter for a 100 L tank

I have a fluval 2+ and its absolutely silent, not using it anymore cos ive got an almost silent external but yeah, the fluval range, IMO is the way to go for internals

I use Eheim aquaballs, virtually silent and have the largest amount of media in any internal filter I've ever used. :)

Good thing about those (iirc) is that you can add an extra media basket if you need to, so its suitable for a bigger tank

what about a whisper internal filter I have one and its is noise free
