New filter system, thinking the Fluval U series?

The one I currently have keeps stopping the slim Marina style S10 cartridge (which not many people have heard of) anyway ... I have to switch it off and then wait 5 minutes and then switch it back on to get it to work?!

Any advice as to what would be ideal? I have a 35L tank set-up which is currently deemed use-less - if I dont get this filter and cycle flippin sorted, the other halfs already moaning at me

I've got a fluval U3 that does a pretty decent job in a 90L.
There's a smaller version too U1, not sure how small though but maybe check it out

Why not install a small fluval 05 external..105.. Much better results and out of the way of your internals of your tank..

Just seen your link nemo, the mini would also be fine in your setup.
