Filter Vibration

Hey guys. After a little help, My neighbor keeps coming up every day complaining about my fish thank saying hes getting humming noise all night and he cant sleep. He lives in the flat below me. The noise is caused by my filter vibrating through the tank/cupboard and down to his flat. Is there any ways i can stop this before i end up putting him in the tank.

How about sitting the filter on top of some soft foam?

Its an internal filter. What about some foam under the tank. Will it actually work??

LOL. i went down to listen to the noise and i could hardly even notice it. I guess he just wants to moan.

Just tell him its not your filter making the humming noise at night, it is your partner playing with her favourite toy.

Put his head in the tank? Lmao its not ur airiator is it Mine was vibrating on the cabinet. I can't see how the filter would be making the noise tho

Nah its defiantly the filter. It does vibrate a little and its a little noisy. I nowmaly rest the filter on the sand quiets this down a bit but i want it at the top of the tank to get the water moving

At that price its worth giving it a go, Just might be a pain getting it under the tank.

You could always ask him to help you lift it I guess.
