Hi to all i already have a small matured tank and will be upgrading to a much bigger tank next week :D , i have read up on the propper methods of a fishless cycle but the filter i will be using on the new tank has come with some free interpet filter start, would i still have to go through the fishless cycle prosess or not if i use this stuff as per the instructions ????
Any help on this would be greatly appriciated as i want to get it right first time and save any harm to my fish,
Thanks in advance

I'm not familiar wtih that product but generally, any product that isn't refrigerated is pretty useless in providing bacteria to start a cycle. The best way to proceed would be to run some of the filter media for the new tank in your established tank for about a week to 10 days so it can pick up some beneficial bacteria on it. Then move it to the new tank and start a fishless cycle with ammonia. SInce bacteria mulptiply exponentially, the seeded bacteria brought from the other tank will greatly speed the fishless cycle and you could possibly complete it in less than 2 weeks.
