I use the whisper in-tank power filters (viewable here), and I was wondering if it is possible to adjust the power.

In the one tank, the filter is perfect, it doesn't hit the water too hard. In the other, it is a big stronger and the little dude struggles a bit more.

Same exact filters but different power settings? :dunno:

Hopefully I am not going insane and there is a way to adjust this

Okay I guess I am going to get my hands in there and figure it out :p I was trying to avoid this but oh well :p

I have no idea what type of filters these are...but does it say anything in the manual or how or if you can even adjust the power?

Not sure where the manuals are, hehe, but what prompted me to get these in the first place was someone mentioned it was adjustable. Plus with both looking like they have different power settings already

I'll report back in a bit with my findings :hyper:

Edit: Okay I looked and I guess I was wrong! I swear I can't find a place to adjust the power. I guess one is just different than the other for whatever reason :dunno:

I believe I have a filter like that in my 2.5G Minibow. The adjustor is on the bottom back. You can't see it or reach it if the filter is in the tank. It only has 2 settings and you move the button right or left depending on if you want a higher or lower water flow.

yep.. like Ladyhawke said, you can adjust on the back. We have one too. There should be a little tab that you can slide back and fourth for high or low flow

That is so weird. Nothing is there, it is completely smooth! Even my mom looked and she can't see a thing! :dunno:
