Hope this is the right place to post this...
I asked what type of filter this was earlier and found out it was an Aqua one filter. All my other filters have two areas for filter media, for mechanical and biological media. The Aqua one just has space for one. I've put both mechanical and biological media in it, (half used and half unused to quicken cycling)but just into the one compartment together. My other filters have seperate labled sections for each so is it OK to put both together?
And is it OK to use filter media designed for a different filter model? Probably a silly question but I want to be sure..
Another possible silly question... when the top part of the filter sticks out, I get air going through the filter - is this the idea of it? Or should it be fully submerged? The filter creates nice water movement but should I get an oxygenator for the tank? (if the bubbles are not supposed to happen)The tank is going to be for one male betta.
Thanks for any help!
